Barlow Meyers

American author. Full name Gertrude Barlow Meyers  Born in 1902. Wrote a number of books for young adults, including westerns, TV series tie-ins and a few horse stories of the ranching/wild horse type. A couple of her TV show tie-ins (featuring the female stars of the Disney Annette show and the Lawrence Welk show) also included horses. Both of these are also ranching/dude ranch stories but with a female protagonist for a change.

SUMMARY: TV tie in. A ranch/mystery story based on the character of Annette from the 1950s American TV adventure series
Walt Disney Presents Annette. The heroine was played by Disney teen starlet Annette Funicello. Not sure how much horse content as I have not read it. As a bit of extra trivia, Annette Funicello also starred in Disney's The Horsemasters based on the book by Don Stanford

Collector's Info:
Fireball  is the hardest to find of them all and The Blue Runner is quite rare too. Last of the Wild Stallions, although not common, is reasonably easy to find in the USA. Both these two are very hard to find elsewhere however. The Annette and Janet Lennon books are very easy to find in the USA, but can be elusive elsewhere.
